The hotel has been undergoing extensive updating and changes to make it even better for all the guests. The "Oasis in the Desert" pool area is truly a beautiful spot to enjoy the pool, spa and barbecue grills. Why go out to eat when you can grill a steak, hot dog, hamburger or whatever you want on the fabulous grills in the garden areas and pool area of the hotel? Sit with your friends, visit, swim, and eat, doesn't get much better than that.

The Event Center is a place where everything from large meetings to Quinceañeras can be held in comfort and safety. If you have a group of up to 150 people that you want to impress with a great function then be assured that the Palo Verde Inn & Suites can assist you in doing just that! Our great staff will help you and greet your overnight guests with courtesy and respect as well as efficiently getting them checked into their rooms.

The rooms are larger than the standard hotel rooms so you have more room to enjoy your break away from home. We also have the annex building which has two rooms suites and deluxe single rooms which have been totally remodeled with beautiful upgrades such as granite counter tops, upscale beds and more.

Renovated rooms almost done...

Our corporate annex wing has been going under some significant renovation, and we are glad to say that things are coming to a close.

A few weeks ago our rooms looked like this...

... and we had piles of new furniture waiting in storage.

Now we proudly present what our renovated rooms look like! (apologize for the bad quality...I took a couple of these with my camera phone).

New luxury bed linens...

New sofas and lounge chairs.

Grass is greener...

As we continue to improve our hotel, one of the things we have focused on is becoming a responsible hotel. To that end, we have made several improvements that make our hotel eco-friendly. However, as a guest, you may not notice most of these changes because they are hidden.

One of the changes we are most excited about is the installation of two super-efficient Eternal Hybrid GU32 water heaters. Most water heaters in the US today are tank water heaters, which use and waste a great deal of energy. Imagine trying to keep 100 gallons of water constantly hot, and that is what tank water heaters do. Our new water heaters are on-demand and heat water instantly as they pass through the heaters' pipes. Therefore, only the water that is being demanded in our guest rooms is being heated. As a guest, you won't notice any difference -- actually you might notice an improvement in having a better flow of hot water, but we are saving a great deal of energy. We are also greatly reducing our output of harmful greenhouse gases into the environment. Lastly, because they last longer and are easier to maintain, we reduce our impact on landfills as well.

If you are about to replace the water heater in your own home, there are several manufacturers that build residential on-demand water heaters (sometimes called tankless water heaters). Some advantages for putting these types of water heaters in your home include lower utility bill, smaller size, and longer life. In addition, because of their much smaller size, you can possibly move the unit closer to your bathroom or kitchen, so that you don't end up waiting forever in the cold wintertime for the hot water to come (although in Tucson our winters average 65 degrees, so you should come visit us then!).
